Tree of Life Sermon 1

Welcome

Hello, and welcome to The Path Church.

My name is Adam, and I'm grateful you've joined me today.

Whether you've been a Christian your whole life, you've been away from church for years, or you're simply searching for hope, you are welcome here.

At The Path Church, we believe that every person has value, every life has purpose, and every day is another opportunity to walk a better path.

Let Us Pray

Thank you for being here.

Loving God, thank You for this day and for everyone listening.

Please open our hearts and minds to Your wisdom. Teach us to live with faith, hope, love, and compassion.

Help us become people who bring peace where there is conflict, kindness where there is hurt, and hope where there is discouragement.

Guide our steps each day as we seek to follow the path You have set before us.

Amen.

Scripture Reading

John 13:34

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

Message

Jesus gave us a simple command: Love one another.

Those words are easy to hear but sometimes difficult to practice.

Love isn't just a feeling. It is something we choose every day. We choose it when we forgive someone who has hurt us. We choose it when we encourage a friend who feels alone. We choose it when we treat strangers with dignity and respect.

At The Path Church, we believe that every person deserves compassion. No one is beyond hope, and no one walks alone.

Every day presents us with a new opportunity to become a little more patient, a little more understanding, and a little more like the example Jesus gave us.

Sometimes the path is difficult. Sometimes we stumble. But God's grace reminds us that we can always begin again.

Each new day is another chance to choose kindness, to choose love, and to stay on the path that leads toward peace.

Closing Prayer

Let us pray.

Lord, thank You for Your love that never fails.

Help us carry Your light into our homes, our workplaces, and our communities.

Give us strength to love others as You have loved us.

May our words bring encouragement, our actions bring healing, and our lives reflect Your grace.

We ask these things in Jesus' name.

Amen.

Remember: Stay on the Path.
